Geelong Homes has undertaken a pledge to build a 2nd charity home to raise essential funds to help our cause. Funds raised through the sale of the home will support our scientific partnership with University of South Australia (UniSA), where the development of an innovative genetic SIDS biobank is continuing to advance.

The project commenced construction in March 2023, with Geelong Homes building a contemporary three-bedroom home in Yaringa, Armstrong Creek. The home is scheduled for completion and auctioning in late 2023. The project has been made a reality thanks to the very generous contribution of Geelong Homes and their sub-contractors and suppliers, together with David Draper and his team at Drapers Civil Contracting.

In and around the build of the charity home, we’re excited to announce that we’ve appointed a new ambassador, George Georgeovski (The Lunchbox Dad)! George brings such value to the campaign, in promoting and marketing the build and sale to his 1 million social media followers and via his featured national TV and print appearances!

Josh Liston, General Manager Geelong Homes, said he’s excited to be involved in this second charity home project with River’s Gift

“Geelong Homes have a long and proud history in the local region, so we are thrilled to work with such an inspiring family based charity that are having a significant impact on the national stage.”
