River’s Gift is thrilled to announce the incredible success of our 2025 River’s Gift Golf Day, held on Friday, March 21st, 2025, at The Sands, Torquay. Proudly Sponsored by Beyond Bank, the event was a huge success, raising an astounding $46,000 to support our mission of Stamping Out SIDS and funding genetic SIDS research.
The day provided participants with the opportunity to enjoy one of Australia’s top-rated golf courses on the stunning Surf Coast, with the beautiful setting adding to the excitement and camaraderie of the day. Golfers participated in an Ambrose format (4-ball best ball), with some fierce competition for a range of amazing prizes.
After an exciting morning on the course, attendees were treated to a delicious buffet lunch and drinks package, followed by an afternoon filled with music, guest speakers, and additional fundraising activities. It was a fantastic afternoon, bringing everyone together in the fight against SIDS.
Special thanks to our guest speaker, Glenn Manton, who delivered a powerful and inspiring address. Glenn’s raw and authentic style made for a truly memorable experience, as he captivated the audience with humour, passion, and integrity. Heartfelt thanks also to our musician Scott Dalton for adding such a delightful ambience to our lunch proceedings.
