By choosing River’s Gift as your donation partner in the CDS Vic app, every eligible container you return can directly contribute to funding vital SIDS research and safe sleep education for families.
Collect your eligible cans and bottles.
Download the CDS Vic app (West, North or East) on your phone.
Register for a new CDS Vic account.
In the app, scroll to “Charities” and search “River’s Gift.”
Select River’s Gift and set it as your payout recipient.
Visit a CDS Vic refund point.
Open the app and scan your barcode at the machine.
Place your cans and bottles on the conveyor belt.
Select Transfer and your refund will be donated directly to River’s Gift.
Every container returned helps us move closer to our goal of Stamping Out SIDS and protecting more babies through research and education.
