River’s Gift is proud to reflect on the incredible success of our 2026 River’s Gift Golf Day, held on Friday, March 27th at Curlewis Golf Club.
Proudly sponsored by Beyond Bank, and in partnership with Kieser, the day was a tremendous achievement, raising just over $80,000 in support of our mission of Stamping Out SIDS and funding vital genetic SIDS research.
While the weather may have been less than ideal, it certainly didn’t dampen spirits — with big smiles, great energy and a strong sense of community being felt from start to finish.
Set on the stunning Bellarine Peninsula, the day at Curlewis Golf Club brought together an incredible group of supporters from the Geelong and surrounding area. From those who took to the course, to those who volunteered their time, donated generously, purchased “wine wall” tickets, or simply got behind the event – every contribution played a part in making the day such a resounding success.
Following the morning’s play, guests gathered in the clubhouse for a relaxed and enjoyable afternoon featuring a delicious lunch, refreshments, live music and fundraising activities. A big thank you to Joe for his beautiful music, and creating a fantastic atmosphere throughout the afternoon.
A true highlight of the day was an inspiring and heartfelt address from guest speaker Michelle Payne. Her story, authenticity and strength resonated deeply with all in attendance, leaving a lasting impression and reminding us of the power of resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
