Steigen River Run Geelong – A Day of Fitness, Fun, and Fundraising!
On Sunday, March 2nd, 2025, we were thrilled to be part of the Steigen River Run Geelong, an amazing day filled with fitness, fun, and community spirit—all in support of River’s Gift! The event saw participants lace up their running shoes and hit the track, whether they were racing or cheering from the sidelines, all coming together to raise vital funds for our mission of Stamping Out SIDS.
Held along the stunning Barwon River path system, the event featured both 5km and 10km courses, offering something for everyone, from seasoned runners to those looking to enjoy a more leisurely stroll. Thanks to our incredible supporters, the day was not only about running but also about making a real impact in the fight against SIDS.
A special shout-out and huge thank you goes to our top fundraising team, Liz and Ben Willcox, who raised an incredible $2,362 for our cause! Their dedication and commitment to supporting our cause are truly inspiring, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their hard work and generosity.
