A Night to Remember: Uniting for Charlie Gala Ball 2023
On Saturday, May 27th, 2023, the River’s Gift – Uniting for Charlie Gala Ball returned to the Ballarat Golf Club, bringing together a vibrant crowd of over 230 guests. The evening was a resounding success, filled with laughter, heartfelt moments, and an incredible display of community spirit.
Building on the success of the inaugural event in 2022—which raised over $32,000 in honour of Charlie Rutherford, who tragically lost her life to SIDS at just five months old—the 2023 Gala exceeded all expectations. Guests enjoyed exquisite food and drinks, dazzling entertainment, spirited auctions, and plenty of dancing as they united for an important cause: Stamping Out SIDS.
Thanks to the generosity of attendees and supporters, the event raised over $30,000 to further River’s Gift’s mission of creating a world free from SIDS.
